On May 2, over 55 past and present MoFo Women gathered at the Nobu Hotel Epiphany in Palo Alto to attend the inaugural Northern California Women’s Alumnae reunion event hosted by MoFo’s Women’s Strategy Committee and the MoForever Women’s Network.
MoFo Women were able to reconnect and make new memories while they enjoyed Japanese-Peruvian cuisine prepared by the chefs of Nobu Palo Alto. Attendees were also invited to sample the Nobu sake collection while they learned about the history and production of sake.
Women alumnae from 25 companies, law firms, university and government agencies were in attendance.
Established in 2017, the MoForever Women’s Network aims to build upon and foster the connections between women at the firm and women alumnae of the firm through a series of professional development and social networking events.
In November 2017, over 85 women attended the inaugural MoForever Women’s Network “Grit and Growth” professional development workshop in the firm’s New York office. The workshop focused on developing traits that help female attorneys advance their careers at law firms.
Future programs, planned for Southern California and the East Coast, will focus on developing executive presence and leadership competencies, as well as provide networking opportunities.
