Claudia is particularly passionate about promoting women in the firm and legal field. She is a former member of MoFo’s Women’s Strategy Committee, former co-chair of San Francisco’s Women’s Affinity Group, and also founded San Francisco’s Working Moms Affinity Group. As an ERA board member, Claudia will continue to pursue her passion to expand economic and educational opportunities for women, both in the legal field and beyond.

About the ERA

Founded in 1974, the ERA has made tremendous progress in advancing women’s equality in work and education, combating sex discrimination in the workplace, and advocating for hospitable work environments and policies for working families. The ERA was front and center in the passing the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, which prohibits discrimination based on pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions, and the Family Medical Leave Act, which extends leave to eligible employees for family members’ health and pregnancy-related medical care.

The ERA focuses on three key advocacy issues – Strong Girls, Women at Work, and Access to Justice. ERA advocates lead public education, legislative, and litigation campaigns to eradicate injustices women face.
